The Program

Awards will be provided for innovative concepts consistent with the mission of the Translational Imaging Center.

Two categories of awards will be made.

1. Category 1: limited to $5000
2. Category 2: unlimited.

The number of awards will be determined by available funding, number of submissions, and quality of submissions.

The proposal is limited to a maximum of three pages, based on the attached template. Any information beyond 3 page will not be reviewed.

Finalists are required to present a 1-slide pitch at a future TIC group meeting before selection of awards.

Judging Criteria

• Is the proposal understandable?
• Is the idea reasonable? (Scope, budget, schedule, etc.)
• What is the importance of the work? (Significance, publications, proposal potential, etc.)
• Does your team make sense?

After approval

• You must talk to Georgiann to get the appropriate account number.
• 1-page report should be submitted after the project is done or every 4 months whichever is shorter (See below for report template)
• A presentation at lab meeting is required after the project is done or every 4 months whichever is shorter. The presentation date must be coordinated with Georgiann.
